nv knew cash converters held such gems man. how much did u get it for? and how did u manage to try? were there amps and stuff?

Well, if you look hard enough, you can find some really good guitars being sold cheap there.....they're usually battered, so the people there sell them cheaper.

I got it for $265, but it had Bartolinis in them. The wiring was bad, and one of the pickups was shorted, so I swapped them out for EMGs. In time to come, the nut also gave way, so I had to retire the neck, as the previous owner had shaved the truss rod end pretty badly....bad enough that the neck couldn't be saved without major surgery.

i tink i'd rather spend the $$ on a good working bass. rather than having to go thru all that hassle.

Well, at the end of the day, I now have a bass that can compete with the best, at a fraction of the cost! It's a beater, man.....haha.....but seriously, I like the body wood....hard alder, really good sound.

oh yea.. very much like an urge2 bass. heh. i think my friend jiting has tried it before. he went over to ur place some time back. u got any recordings of that frankenfender?
