This Godin Multiac Neck was sent to us all the way from KL. Jumbo Frets were on it originally on it and it was removed brutally, leaving the fret slots all chipped. The player who is a gigging musician in KL wanted vintage fender sized frets on it and this added to the already challenging task. Here are the results.

Godin Refret
Look at the chips on all the fretslots. A string of expletives hence followed
The salvageable chips are glued back and the missing ones are filled up with a specially ordered gun stock epoxy. The epoxy can be dyed black and the result is quite acceptable.
The neck looks almost as good as new now. The repaired chips are still visible but its not unacceptable. The epoxy also strenghtened the fret slots and future refrets would still be possible. The neck was sent back to KL and the owner is happily gigging with it at the Waikiki Bar. Do check out that place when you're in KL
total cost of this refret: 350 SGD
