Godin Guitars

Hi I am the friend Mobius is talking about. I love this guitar to bits - amazing playability and sound (if you like P90s), sounds almost acoustic in the neck and able to sound SRVish in the bridge with some gain. You can get a BB-king like tone from it too. But not really suited if you are a shredder-type, a humbucker-equipped one would be better. Mine's the Cognac Burst, looks classy. So far no complaints, 'cept that the tone pot has got a little scratchy, but easily fixed. Go try them out at ranking sports. I heard the Exit 22 is another good guitar.

Godin must be one of the most value for money guitars in SG. Made in Canada, high quality construction and stuff...

They are great guitars, but the looks may not appeal to everyone.. for me my only gripe is that it is les-paul heavy...shoulder ache

Penin got 1 shop opposite Davis selling Godin guitars. If I'm not wrong, its Music Theme. They haf fine J&D guitars as well. Can go try it out

ALso try guitar 77 they had a new solidac last time I was there. I also have a lg p90 on my shopping list for the future.

Which model where you interested in?

Hmm i'm actually interested in the xtsa, lgx-sa, lgxt model. I've a difficult decision to make if i can't try it before buying ehhe..

Thanks! I'll check out ranking sports and Music theme :)

i happened to stumble upon the exit 22 at ranking. very tempting for the price of $770. somemore the staff told me got 10% discount and comes with gig bag. hmm... too bad i am very broke.

The Exit 22 is a great buy - pity it has no tremolo though.
