Giving away my written songs

Hi all, I have written a few songs and am now considering giving away these songs free for a suitable band to put in the music and play it into a real song. I hoped to give my song preferably to a band that is well versed with or well styled in Metallica (or related ones like them; including ballad types, not just the trash metal ones).
