Hmm.

The rhythm track (right channel) is nice.. but did you use a metronome to help with timing?

Perhaps you could add a little bit more echoey reverb to the lead track (left channel)? Give it a nice dimension lah.

to iansoh: Do you mean the rhythm track or the lead track? not really sure what a standard bossa rhythm should sound like. Was trying to get the cute bass line thing going haha.

to crawldaddy: I added some reverb with a pedal but not too much, and i don't know how to add reverb with the program even though it does have the reverb function because i don't know all the values and stuff i have to put in. When i press ok it sounds like i'm playing in some cave haha.

Hmm.

Oh wells. But yeah why not add a bassline in the middle channel and let the rhythm guitar stand out less but playing less?

oh you mean like a separate track? i'm actually doing this as kind of a study, because i'm learning how to accompany both with and without a bass player, so i decided to do the solo guitar accompaniment method first.

of course the rhythm track.
no need for additional bass track, this current rhythm guitar track is fine, just that the rhythm is wrong. unless you didn't intend to play it in bossa nova, but judging from the your tone you probably did intend for it to be a little jazzy/bossa. nonetheless i think this is not the best rhythm to play this song to.

oh ok. nice article.

so what kind of feel am i playing it in right now? is it any other kind or is it just some weird rojak.
