let's just face it man. we are different. we are just different from them.
but we don't need to go about saying things like "gay stuff". It just makes us look as immature as the bands we are describing. get what i mean?
Hi If u're keen, u can call this no 62352467 to look for the manager Mr Jason. He's in charge of managing the bands for Ben & Jerrys.
They only do acoustics sets at the Cathay. Normally u're advise to do top 40s covers. Stuff u normally hear on the radio.
Normally u'll not be paid, but u can try for the experience and exposure though, then if u're good, then they'll groom u and u might be able to play at Demsey BNJ. Over there its a full band set.
Alternatively u can walk in Cathay BNJ to ask for an audition date.

My band covered Underoath and Flyleaf a couple of years back, when the Cathay outlet just opened. Hahaha. Obviously, they never called us for another slot since.
Probably just a policy they have, sadly. But sometimes the volume at Ben And Jerry's gets a bit loud though; the bass drum can be heard all the way downstairs. Maybe that's why they had the 9pm enforcement rule. It's a nice corner to play in though; I've been there a few times and enjoyed myself.

deathcubek: if you think that those are gay, can you play half as good as these stated musicians? your sweeping statement also meant that people like john mayer produces music that is gay? please be careful of what you are saying in a forum, respect those musicians even if you think they are not good in your sense. everyone is different. its also simple to give respect, just keep your comments to yourself.

thanx for the info ... groom? that meas they looking for young acts or veterans can apply?

maybe even nibble & bitethe chunky bits ... believe or not I had B & J ice cream for only the first time last sat at Sentosa Siloso Beach .... pricy but superb taste ..

Haha.. Basically anyone can apply.. No age limits. But if u're selected, u'll be trained by the main band at dempsey, like sitting in during their prac. U know like an understudy thingy. Then slowly they'll trained u up to be the next band to play at dempsey, but i heard its not easy cos its takes a long time.
