this is been posted before.....but im sure this would be useful for anyone who wants to buy a Gibson.........

personally I think Gibsons are overrated but hell its a Gibson anyways, would just own one for the sake of it. it is an icon just like fender. but i feel i'll have to try at least 50 guitars to get a right piece. refer to article.

but it TOTALLY isnt something u can just buy off the rack... a MAx lespaul is more then US$30,000 and i think chris derrig is dead?
regardless... all the copys still said gibson on the headstock.
so yea... the brand does carry some weight.
