I've been thinking about upgrading my 1996 Gibson Les Paul Standard for quite a while and finally got down to getting the parts from all over the place.

Pre-upgrade:

Outgoing:
Gibson 490R and 498T
Ceramic Caps
Original Gibson 300k Pots

Things that are going in:
NOS Sprague Hyrel .022mf Capacitors Mil Spec (from jonesy on mlp forum)

Bareknuckle Pickups Stormy Mondays
500k CTS Pots and RS Guitarworks Superpots.

50s' wiring to go along?

DEFINITELY on the 50s wiring! Good to see some of Jonsey's customers here! I bought a 50s wiring kit from him once; didn't get a chance to use as I sold it off with my LP to fund my Nocaster, but it was a work of art just from looks alone!
