Hi!Does anyone knows where can I bought Gibson guitar strings in Singapore??I have gone down to standard value but they doesn't sell it....

Depends on which type you're getting. For example, the brite strings cost $10 and the Les paul strings cost 13$ (If I'm not wrong).

Just get Ernie Balls, Dean Markleys or D'addarios. These brands are pretty much the industry standard as most guitarists are using and endorsing them.

The Vintage Reissue strings on a historic LP are terrific and worth the extra money. Big difference from using Ernie Balls on the same guitar for me.

Do a google search and you'll see that people are loving those strings....I just bought a box of 'em from Swee Lee for my LP.

I can do 2 gigs on a single set too. Using EB's I need to change after every gig.....

Ernie Ball are always the best and worth money for value string.. $5.50 for a pack @ swee lee.. or you can try Darco string at City Music.. about $4..

let's not tag the product price against quality implications...

i've tried the K Garage strings in one of my Ibanez guitars, nothing too special when it comes to feel & tone but they are definitely not duds.

which brand of strings has that kind of 'special' feel? i feel that kgarage strings and ernie balls are pretty similar, or it might be due to that fact that i cant differentiate.

there's no exclusive special feel. many of us would agree that Ernie Balls are crispy right of the pack- induce us to play right away. the coated Elixirs are also appealing to some of us.

well I have use ernie ball b4...but the string I'm buying is for my friend and he doesn't like ernie ball as he had tried b4 and insist in buying the gibson string....

I so need to slap those vintage reissue strings on my 58 vos ri. Sounds really interesting, Ernie ball's tarnish really fast. Tried elixers but I'd rather have non coated strings.
