Davis is the distro for Genz Benz right? Interesting. If they can offer prices below the pricing on online stores, I might be interested in the Tribal 112.

Based on personal experience...

Genz Benz cabs are good but not great. I don't know why but the Bass Response is great dude. However, I have to warn you that it may not sound as good as it does with other amps. Like Mesa Cabs, it does 'colour' your tone.

It all depends on what amp you are using it with. It's well made too. G'd luck 8)

Went over to Davis today and bugged the salespeople a bit regarding Genz Benz. Don't think they wish to bring in GB cabinets; they got GB because someone wanted a GB head (from what I can understand from the conversation). Otherwise, I think it's not worth it for them to get cabs in.

Its a bit pricey...i would rather get a new crate cabs at Davis which retails for 600++ if not wrong...
which i feel is value for money considering marshall 2*12 retail at 600* as well.
tone wise im not sure...

Sorry to dig up an old treat but I was doing a search for genz benz cabs and this hread came about.

Anyway the latest update is that davis has the g-flex in stock!!! I so wanted to give it a spin but I was in a hurry so maybe next time. They have the el diablo 60 head too. :twisted:

I didn't look around for other genz benz cab but the ports of g-flex really stood out among the rest of the amps around it.

Think I'll start saving up. :wink:
