Gear Reviews Section

there's a 2005 new gear review thread in the guitar forum that reviews the gear...but its a bit of a hassle to look for the gear you want...so i was wondering if its possible to have a section in the soft website where softies can deposit reviews on the gear they have or gear to look out for( like the ones in harmony-central.com and the one in ultimate-guitar.com).....and all the gear reviews can be grouped according to type of instrument or brand... this will make it easier for softies to look for the gear they want... and is more organsied........my two cents worth...Thanks for readin!

that's a splendid idea! however, instead of just a read-up of the reviews, like in harmony-central, it'd be great if members can reply to get an interaction going, yes? IMO, SOFT is ahead with regards to the interaction aspect...

maybe like you set-up some page, then people can contribute their reviews of their stuff.

yea... mibe if want can do it 'harmony-central' style.. just let pple type out their views abt the gear.. then mibe just add an option for pple to add photos or someting.. just some standard html form will do.. 8)

the current review database has a 'post comment' section which requires rating, IMO it's something we can do without since those who wish to add comments, might not have owned/ played the reviewed products.

also, the 'post comment' tag could be revised to read 'post comment/ queries'. how about that?
