GAS-ing for a new amp.

hi guys, i'm back from camp again. i'm currently looking to buy a new amp (combo). wanted to get some opinions from you guys before going down the test out some of the amps. i'm actually looking at 30-50W amp. i'm actually very interested in the VOX Valvetronix AD50VT-XL but i'm unsure if it would take pedals (i'm unlikely to use pedals, just in case i want to) nicely. and what's attracting me is that this amp is a hybrid tube amp at a very affordable price.

if you guys have any suggestions, feel free to tell me on this thread. i'm okay with tube, hybrid tube or solid state amps as long as the price falls below $500. and one more thing to add, i'm not into bassy & slightly muffled vintage tones (what VOX is good at). i like nice & smooth drive/distortion and pretty trebly tone found in pop-rock, punk rock & modern rock. hope to see some suggestions coming. thanks guys.

actually i would suggest you get a clean amp like a fender and use pedals if you want dirty tones. because dirty amps cant get you the clean tones like a fender amp.

i think a roland cube30x can suit you nicely. get it from sweelee at around $330 after discount. you may also want to look at marshall avt series.
