1) you knowingly sold me a guitar with pickups not working? Anyway its not the same, i thrashed those cause of the...
2) coloured white pickup covers. Coloured using a marker from white to half pink half black.
3) everything was not wired. You put pots and pickups all screwed in but nothing wired together.

You claim a cold solder joint costs you 35 bucks? 50 bucks, tops. So how about my damage? Rewiring already is 30 bucks in itself. New white covers at secondhand price, 6 bucks. New pups, 20 bucks. Total 56 bucks. At least. Btw, the pedal was completely fine when it left my house. So yes things like that occur but, seriously? YOU have the balls to complain and start a thread on this? When you knowingly sold me a guitar with spoilt pups and everything not wired? And not mention any of these things? Just clearing up my name.

So please do not get all self righteous, just so the others know. No point kicking up a fuss over a bad deal for me, as well, but since you brought it up just wanna let everyone know my side.

Nice try bro. If you were not happy about it you should have told me and not just hang up on my call.. People that know me know that I'm reasonable and I will work something out if I'm at fault. At most we could have swapped back but you chose to ignore my attempts at contacting you. You should have let people know your side in the thread above months ago and settle things with me personally, you know how patient I was and the effort I put in to contact you, all the PMs, SMSes and calls.

I told you about those already.. Asked if you wanted the pickups that were in it, you said no. So I took them out and gave you stock ones. I remember giving you other pickup covers or offering to. Of course the pots were in and not wired cos I took out the pups. You knowingly bought a defective product man. I also clearly remember saying if theres any problems or anything you're unhappy with just call me, I tell that to everyone I deal with.. Did you call? No.

You asked if i wanted stock or aftermarket pickups. I said stock because if it were aftermarket, i'd have to topup. Correct?
You never said anything about it not being wired up.

You remember giving me other pickup covers? Dude, you gave me one half-pink half-black cover on one pickup, one full pink and one full black, all coloured with permanent marker. And nothing was said about them, and i definitely do not remember you offering new pickup covers. And nothing was said about them being coloured because the pickups weren't even on the body, they were in a bag in a compartment. I only realized when i got home.
Btw, i did not knowingly sell you a spoilt pedal. I checked the night before, twice, and even messaged you to tell you everything's working fine.
And no, i didn't respond/call back because i felt that in terms of cost, they roughly cancel out. I even take more damage. So just forget it.

Yup, I sold you spoilt pickups. I told you first tho.. Sorry if I wasn't clear with the deal but if you weren't happy you could have voiced it out when we met or the numerous times I tried to contact you. Umm, its not that you didnt call back, you picked up the phone and hung up when you found out who I was. Was saying "no" so hard? Is explaining yourself even harder? I doubt so... because you just did it.

It might be late but honestly, I would have thown in my extra pickup covers for free, taken back the guitar, rewired the pickups for you or discuss an alternative deal with you. I've accepted returns for worse reasons.

You told me first? Now the story changes again, huh? No, the only thing you asked was stock or upgraded, and if it was upgraded i had to topup.
Yes, i refused to answer your calls and smses and PMs because what's done is done, if i meet you again, what is it gonna solve? We just gonna argue over who compensates more, blah blah blah and a total waste of time imho. Since you can do rewiring, you definitely can solder and why not resolder that one joint? Since i can solder, why not rewire the guitar myself? That is my thinking.
And bro, what is the point of rewiring spoilt pickups? They wouldn't work anyway.
I don't like long-drawn deals, i do them fast which is why i agreed to go all the way down to Pasir Ris.
And btw, i reiterate i did NOT mean to sell you a cranky pedal. Things happen on the way, and my handling was probably careless, or maybe it was really a cold solder joint and through my carelessness i didn't check properly. But i cannot understand why you would not mention the pickups are spoilt and not wired up. If the guitar was not defective and my pedal had some problems, yes i understand it is my obligation to compensate you and compensate you at your convenience. But the guitar came to me as defective and somehow, probably through my carelessness, the pedal had one cold solder. I called it quits. That is all.
And @carboxymoron: Before you start calling anyone a fraud, please read all posts and see that your buddy also has neglected to mention certain important details. Am i the only one in the wrong? I don't think so. Did i con him? I don't think so. And if you want to call me a fraud, do it loudly and proudly out here, in front of everyone. Why resort to private means? Tsk.

Honestly to be fair in this situation, J'Jellybean, you are kinda in the wrong for just refusing to pick up his calls. I believe this is just a genuine case of misunderstanding on both parts and not communicating at the start doesn't make it any better. Let's give both sides the benefit of the doubt and look at the situation on both sides of the shoe.

WCK presumed that you know what you were buying, and hence the lack of further information. Now you buy the product, went home and found out, OMG, the thing not wire up not working, pissed off. After that you receive pms and sms from wck telling you the pedal is spoiled. You decided to ignore him because the guitar isn't wired up and pick ups are spoiled. Honestly somehow, if I was WCK I would be pissed. Because at one hand, he presumed u know what u were buying and after that he got a pedal that doesn't work somehow and the seller refuse to answer his calls or messages. Now that can be frustrating ain't it. And to be completely honest, in this scenario, taking things into your own hands by refusing to answer wck's calls just doesn't seem very cooperative. Who is to judge that WCK rather have a guitar with non-wired spoiled pickups than a cranky pedal? Once again, your presumption.

I don't think meeting WCK up and clear up the air is a waste of time to be honest. It's more of getting back what you deserve and clearing yourself up. Like WCK claimed, come to worst, just swap back both items. However, you chose to believe that it's a waste of time and in the end, both of you will start arguing again. But again, this is a presumption on your part.

I am not trying to stir shit up with this but rather looking at this with an explanation logical to me. However you see it is up to you guys. I hope both of you settle this soon and preferably, privately.
