Am selling my Custom Shop Fender 2010 which is a modern day Custom Deluxe Stratocaster in excellent condition with no dings or marks on the body, but for an almost unnoticeable chip on the headstock, Alder body and with the popular Fiesta Red colour, mint green pickguard, dark Rosewood fingerboard on a beautiful flame grained maple neck. Thin skin nitro finish for a nice gloss. 22 frets for the double octave high E bend, 9.5” radius fingerboard and Dunlop 6105 frets, Schaller locking tuners. Plenty of twang, sustain and characteristic bell tone as you would expect from a Custom Shop Fender.
Comes with Original Hard case with Custom Shop logo, Certificate of Authenticity. etc.
Custom Shop guitars are Team Built in the Corona Factory in California, and at the top range of Fender guitars surpassed only by the Masterbuilts. They are distinct from the mass produced off shelf models and the wait in the US is about 5 – 8 months for individualized orders. Custom Shop have the best wood selected from a lot, high quality electrics and switches, hand contoured body, and special custom shop pickups. As such, the tonal quality is generally far superior to the regular off shelf models. They always comes with a Certificate Of Authenticity indicating model, serial number and Year of Manufacture in a humidity tight hard case designed for prolonged storage. All Custom Shop Guitar models should have a CS Logo on the guitar headstock.
