MIM Precision Bass in vintage white (aged naturally) for sale. (Should be made in 2004, based on serial tracing - can do another check).

The bass is nicely set up, low action and easy to slap (i'm no slapper, but my friends who can love it). Rarely used as I'm not a bass player. There are several paint chips in the paint - not due to abuse, but due to the thick coat used by Fender on these basses. Great tone, and is a real player. I'll let the pictures do the talking as for the condition! Priced to go at $550, comes with gig bag.

I note that the tone knob is missing in the pics, but i've since found it in the gig bag. SMS 93375021 to deal. Thanks!

Ok some have asked me why the paint chips are there. The answer is that it is due to the bass aging and the weather here, which caused some cracks in the paint. Back in the day, Fender used to apply thick coats of paint on its mexican made guitars and basses, which meant that humidity changes would cause such cracks. These cracks are merely cosmetic, and the bass has already settled so you won't get any further cracks. Besides, this gives the bass extra mojo. The bass hasn't been beaten up or abused.

As for the electronics, they work perfectly well. The pots etc were changed 2 years ago, i've got the original in the gig bag.

And lastly, I do not accept trades as I am not a bass player.

The bass is still for sale, I initially thought it was going to be sold but there are plenty of morons on soft who make offers and back away after.
