Fretboard conditioner...

Hey softies, I have read here that Fretboard conditioner (lem oil) spoils maple, correct me if I'm wrong. So what do you use to maintain maple fretboards? Thanks for the help!

i just spit on my maple boards ....

maple fretboards need no such treatment because they are non-porous (rosewood is porous, it dries up hence necessitating the conditioning). cleaning it with guitar polish would suffice.

dirty maple boards look more appealing than clean maple boards, in a way.
