You get started on creating your own original electronic music and remixes -
- Basics of how to use Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) software
- Laying down beats and grooves
- Composition methods
- Arrangement in different electronic styles
- Sound design and synthesis
- Working with samples, and
- Using effects to enhance your final mix
School of Music and the Arts (SOMA) warmly invites you to join us for an exciting day of free music workshops and one-to-one consultancy sessions with some of the best musicians, songwriters and producers in the industry.
Look out for a special Career Talk with guest speakers Mandarin-pop artiste Kelly Poon and singing duo Jack & Rai.
SOMA is also looking for new talented songwriters and lyricists! Bring your demos down and you might get signed, on the spot, with your very first publishing deal.
The first 150 to register for any workshop will receive a fabulous goodie bag worth over $100, courtesy of our kind partners.
