Four Young Guitarist-Soloists

Andrew Chen, Amanda Tee, Ng Ling Kai and Syltra "Seal" Lee are four young (all under 20 yrs old) and talented musicians, who went on air live yesterday morning on FM93.8's The Living Room programme.

Catch them in action as they perform covers and original material tonight (Aug 23) from 7-8:30pm at the Singapore Art Cafe. Watch out for Amanda's "Turbulence" and Seal's "Beautiful".
 
it was pretty cool. i must say, they were some pretty talented people there. andrew just blew evryone away. i especially liked when syltra played with amanda. 'zombie' was awesome!
 
enjoid it a lot, hadnt ever had this much fun at a gig(not just acoustic), favourite songs? turbulance, pride & joy, and beautiful
 
i had a lot of fun myself too :) really, this is the most awesome open mic i ever hosted. and you guys on the floor just wanted more and more. thanks jeremy and ilrampage for coming. hey ilrampage, din get to say hi to you fellow softie. next time come say hi :)

yup. 'zombie' was awesome. Seal sounded just like the lead singer. i'm sure this will not be last time we see of Ling Kai, Amanda, Andrew and Seal. till the next open mic :)
 
we should have them again sometime. ill def go down.

jeremy were you the one andrew commented to have a 'nice haircut'? lol.

this was my first open mic, and im glad i made the effort to go. it was pretty cool.

singaporeartcafe. you're jonathan? i was the one in orange jacket. i knew id seen you somewhere before. just couldnt remember. haha.
 
yes its me :) orange jacket? hmmm...let's see. i kinda remember seeing someone in an orange jacket. you came in pretty early, right? with two other friends?
 
lol yeah i remember. was doing last minute rearranging of the tables to fit in more people lah... luckily i did, ya? almost full house tonight..
 
Oh man I seriously did not know about this thread until now.

If I knew about it earlier and if my teacher did not cancel my lesson at the very very very very last minute , I would have joined the rest in catching the performance :D
 
everyone did a really great job, and great crowd!
it was very fun :D
but i did mess up alot eh.... 8O
oh well, at least we all had fun ya.?...

I kick ass on keyboards? no lah. made plenty of mistakes while jamming that were covered up by the marvellous vocals & music of my four talented fellow jammers. now it is ME who messed up, Andrew. not you :) like i told the crowd, you literally took us for a ride with your power numbers. woooo!!

sorry cloudsky. i dun think anyone took videos, which is a real pity...

Seal, you are most welcome! The Singapore Art Cafe is most suited for talented acoustic acts like you guys. Glad that you are using the platform to share your music and gifting with others. Continue to write BEAUTIFUL songs, ya? ;)

oh yes! thanks Seal, for offering to take over hosting of coming Wed's GOT! session. i'm sure it will be another fun fun session :)
