Hey does anyone know where to get a Floyd Rose Tremolo in SG?

Also is it possible to put a floyd on a strat or do adjustments to the bridge space have to be modified. ( sorry if you think im retarded/dumb/ im just curious )

FR on a Fender Strat

Hi, yeah you need to carve a part of the body to give space for the FR (floating trem) so this way you can pull it up & down,also locking nuts shall be placed over the standard nut, you can search the forum for guys who have modified their standard bridge to a floating 1.

not impossible,but rather pricey,it can be done
and yeah u need to change the standard nut to a locking one

Yes indeed, a bit expensive & this would change your Fender forever, and yeah its cool to have FR on a Fender, I have one

To get a floating trem, a routing done and a setup will easily get you a mid range floating trem guitar. Not worth to do it.

heres a way to fit a floyd rose on a fender without routing...increase the body to neck angle...so gotta really make a good shim.

here is how my Gibson with factory fitted floyd sits...and of cos Gibson body/neck angle isnt flat like fenders.
