i dunno if its called fixed tremolo or what la, but aniway, so i got this poly friend, metal siao.

wanna buy guitar right?

so he looking at ibanez, so wondering if like a floating tremolo , is it really that easier to f-ed up the setting? as compared to a fixed tremolo?

i use an SG copy btw, so fixed bridge for me. =)

help help, and some recommendation perhaps?

if by setting you mean tuning, a reliable floating trem (e.g. original floyd rose, edge pro) should be able to keep in tune pretty well even if the whammy bar's abused. although imo it's pretty troublesome changing strings on a floating trem, but then again that's just me. not quite sure what a fixed tremolo is though. :S

A floating tremolo or a Floyd Rose tremolo is very different from a standard tremolo. IMHO a beginner should avoid the Flody Rose. It is good to play with but you need to know how to tune it as it is disaterous if you dun know how to tune it.

my fixed tremolo is , like think in terms of fender one?

ohh no original stuffs, i mean he's gonna hit dirt cheap.

so no floating tremolo?

You can get a Floyd Rose at a lower price with the Ibanez GIO Series but it is not recommended as it is not reliable.
