why dont u call up the previous owner who sold it to u. maybe he is aware of the problem and didnt want to tell it to u.

erm, i called him. he said he will take a look at a pedal.
he said the night before he sold it to me, it's still in working condition.
just giving him e benefit of doubt. hopefull will get this settle.

i did ask for a full refund, but he said it's not possible...
hope the situation wont get nasty...

Thats probably cause..

1) Money spent Alrdy thus no money repay.

2) Times are hard he needs the cash urgently

3) Hes an honest con man

4) He genuinely is unaware of the pedal being faulty

5) He thinks its ur fault that the pedal ended up being screwed.

Hope the best will be for you :D

hahaahhaa.. erm, seriously, a partial refund is good.. ; )

i know everyone needs money now (even i also need money mar), but selling a faulty equipment is outright wrong.. hahah
and i doubt such cases can never be reported... urggg...

Er... Did u do a thorough check of the tuner before actually committing to the transaction?

Always try to find a way to check the equipment before buying especially with second hand deals. Not everyone is an honest man...

it was quite a last min meet up, so i dun hav batteries or guitar to test it out.
plus he said it's in good working condition.. i mean a faulty tuner is the last thing that i will think of..

haiz.. hope can at least cover some cost back....

Good thing though that 90% of my deals are fairly good here in the office or anywhere in MRT passenger service. A guy who sold me a non working 'hold' function DD3 before immediately met up with me and returned back my money.

When getting an expensive pedal, make sure that the guy has a good reputation here in forum and a regular poster. It would also be great if you can head down immediately to a guitar store and test the pedal right away... TYMusic is cool with this especially the 'uncle' there.

Yes, Korg Pitchblack's so far the cheapest and best tuner for me in the market.

Yeah, that uncle at TYMC is cool. Most of my deals goes smoothly with meet ups at MRT stations.
