Just curious...at what ages did all of you start playing ur instruments and how long have u all been playing?

first instrument i learnt was the trumpet at 13 in the military band. 14, i picked up the guitar. Turning 18 this year.in primary school we were taught to play the recorder, but i just couldnt get the hang of it .

Age 10 , piano till grade5.

Learn n played the yangqin n erhu in secondary sch haha. the er hu rox man! not easy to master..

Got into heavymetal when i was 13, first band that caught my attention-slayer (hell yea)!


started guitaring at 14 for 3 yrs. stopped. now my acoustic n electric collecting dust in my room..

Got into drums but nv got serious enough till recent yrs.

Anyway i should have continued doing music and not dropping the subject in year 9

well me too, but joined the school choir after that just to escape from that malay tarian thingy.. but both sucks. serious. i should have gone for soccer instead.

woah... u guys all multi talented... i only know to instruments, started piano when i was primary 5 and guitar(classical :roll: ) when i was sec 1... looks like i'm a noob here... but all of are right! music is a never ending learning process
