First time performing. HOW?

Few things I would like to share...

1) Play your loudest and softest song during your soundcheck and get all the musicians to take note of what they need in their stage monitors. Work closely wit the sound guy.. Don't piss him off! (If you're busking then skip this)
2) Try not to let the sound upset any of the band members on stage as you can NEVER get the perfect sound. (think "plug, play and shoot")
3) If there's time to re-arrange the songs according to the band's taste, then do it. Show how creative the band can be! Play a cover your way... How cool is that?
4) If someone makes a mistake, don't look at him/her! Put on a smile... Most listeners won't even know if you've made a mistake.
5) Your band is there to have a great time.... So have fun! Who can stop you except yourself? Fun is infectious. If you're having fun on stage, I'm sure your audience will be able to feel the vibe!
