Some that came to mind are...
Come as you are - Nirvana
Sweet Child o' Mine - GNR
Otherside - RHCP
Slither - Velvet Revolver
And many other modern pop rock songs that uses a ton of power chords. Try looking up what a power chord is and after mastering it, you can create some pretty cool patterns. ^^
Why not learn some chords first? They're really great for getting your fingers to familiarize with the fretboard!
As for scales, if you are an absolute beginner i wouldn't reccomend learning them that early. After playing for a few months you might want to check out the Minor Pentatonic scale. Its mainly used in rock/blues and many great songs use it (e.g Stairway Solo). It's a great first scale to learn!
And one friendly reminder is to always start slow for any song/scale you are learning, then slowly work up the tempo.
Rock on!
