FireWire 1394a Switch

I've come across with FireWire 1394a extender or repeater like those featured in Gefen. (Link to Gefen homepage). But I'm looking for a hub or switch to "toggle" among my FireWire devices. Any recommendations/advice? Thanks in advance.

I've got but just one miserable FireWire port on my notebook and I would like to toggle connections between my external HDD, sound card and coffee maker. Any suggestions?
