how do you guys practice the flaxibility/strength of you fingers? I found a lot of sites that want us to do this :

In this exercise, we have to place our 1st to 4th finger on the 6 strings, start from 1st frat to 4th frat, then move downward one at a time to 12 th frat. With such exercises, we need to bend our wrist.

But in one of the video, an experience old man told use never bend our wrist , here the video :

so how to we reach 6th string without actually bending our wrist?

finally, do you guys do these king of practice as in the figure ? i find it kind of boring.

thanks.

well, with regards to wrist bending, it's a matter of playing position. If your guitar is slanted and your neck is pointing upwards, you can do it without bending your wrist. But if you have it parallel to the ground, you'll have to bend.

Yes, it's boring. I mainly use it for finger warm ups. This exercise is NO GOOD without a metronome though...

dude, i feel for you man. last time i started prac the guitar, i felt like quitting. but that's a long time ago.

one hand exercise i learned was to stretch your fingers to the limit by using your right hand to space out between each finger and stretch. there was some other exercises i've forgotten, still, it helps to stretch your fingers over your fretboard
