No, it's not the new Highway 1 with the Greasebucket thingy...it's the previous version. I just bought one myself...heh heh heh...damn nice! $888 is a great deal!

as above- it's a pre-2006 model (i own one), the Grease Bucket circuitry isn't a total loss if you don't have it in your guitar.

it's a good deal, if you are budget conscious, it's a good time to grab one. there might/ might not be price revisions for the new models...

the H1 shouldn't be compared too much to other Fender offerings, unless those models also feature a satin body finish (eg: Std Satin)- different tone & feel.
