some changes include:

JB62-66 --> JB62

JB75-100US --> JB75-US
JAB-97EQ --> JAB-EQ

those are just the jazz basses

new models?
JB62-DMC, PB62-DMC
JB62-DMC/VSP, PB62-DMC/VSP

but there were some that were not listed
discontinued? :eek:
AJB-110DMC
APB-105DMC
(sold as 'Aerodyne Classic Precision Bass Special under the Deluxe range in the US .:: Fender®.com ::.)

yup, though i dont remember the 62 jbasses being equipped with dimarzios.. previously with the stock fender japan pups or vintage US pups

the pups for the DMC basses are DCJ-3s while the DMC/VSP refer to DCJ-1s

sent them an email regarding my bass model

Thank you for your e-mail. This is Hiroaki from Ishibashi WEB SHOP.

AJB-110DMC is discontinued production...
So now this model is not manufactured...

they renamed almost everything... and there are alot of new variants on the existing models. for example some basic models now come in both di marzio and vintage fender pup configs, whereas the same models before renaming were available only in either one or the other. i dunno if i'm making sense :confused: but it will matter balls if we cant get our hands on brand new japs now :(

oddly enough the aerodyne precision special has been discontinued in japan but is still being produced for and sold by fender usa.

if i'm not wrong all the aerodynes come with satin necks
