not like i dont want to go there.... but im in KL right now, how im suppose to go there... bout the phone call, i never call outside malaysia.. maybe u can help me for that...

... I think about $900/- +, but Ebenex (4th floor Brasbasah) is selling Fender Blacktop guitars tele, jaguar and Baritone Tele. S$850 each, NETT.....

Hmmmh..... you thought... Well they indeed carry wide range of items/models as they are authorized dealer...some you cant find in other store... but price wise.... lol...

Stuff for guitars that you can't find there can always be ordered through BGW or Ebenex. The ludicrous store price mark-up and laughable customer service stops me from ever shopping there. Only time I set foot in there is to kill time or if there's a sale going on.

I just checked it out yesterday, it's $980 with NO further discount. It's a really good guitar though but I find it a little bit more expensive compared with the Blacktop in SV Guitars ($850+, I think) but they don't carry the Sonic Blue color which I prefer.
With regard to the customer service of Swee Lee,I actually find it great, I spend at least 30-40 minutes trying out gear there and they actually don't give a damn if I don't buy anything. For me, I think it's waaay better compared with the store 'upstairs' who also sells "2nd hand gear' ... the old guy there, I would say doesn't really know the true price of the pedals they are selling... 'cmon $250 for a Nano Holy Grail?!?!!?! I asked him that it's waay to much and he will give me a discount until $220... absurd.

EBENEX.... the man u r refering was Derrick, the guitar tech.... but he is one of the nicest guitar sales-person I know man.... infact EBENEX offer a very good price for ur used gear for trade-in, and David (boss) and Derrick are nice themselves, at time they really got a bargain for used guitar.... Anyway, personally Ebenex & GuitarConnections are my fav used guitar shops, they will treat you nice even if you just popped for a look-see....
Ar_zaem, but SV guitars (Peninsula) and both Swee Lee & Ebenex (Brasbasah) is within vicinity, you should go recce these places before you make up your mind... $ 850/- is a reasonable price for brand new B/top. But... hmmh why preference for a black-top?

Alamak. . . I bought my son his Epi ES333 from SweeLee last year, that time they told me still.have 20% discount off the white price tag. Recently we went back to get a Jazzmaster Btop, yout staff told me the price tag is a nett price now, instead he recommend me to buy some amp.system that cost abt $599/-. We ended up buying the Jazzmaster from Ebenex.. .

I didn't mention about him being a terrible guy, I know he's great since I've demoed some of their display pedals there as well, he's cool.
It's just that, he should know better about the 'real' pricing of their pedals on the market. That's all. EBENEX is great just for the record but I just hope that it's just on that EHX pedal that they may have made a mistake on pricing. Sonic blue... aged pickguards, HUMbucker PUs... just makes me drool.
and of course the price is not that bad for MIM. I also like the tone of it and the ability to split coil. I even dropped by to the Bras Basah store to yesterday to check it out and the guy also mentioned that it's $980 ++... I guess, I'll have to print out your reply to SOFT as a proof that it's only 700++ when I purchase it this month... LOL.
