the Aerodyne bass is one of the Fender models i truly respect. it won't give you the classic Fender tone, it wasn't conceived to be one, but it's a good sounding unit per se. some of us here won't get along with the thinner body but IMO it doesn't get in the way of playability/ tone.

aerodyne got cool design,but personally i dont like basswood body...it never give me that *umph*

MIA stuff really rocks! it's like 50% better than MIM stuff. tried out somebody's MIA jazz today. it was a fat fantastic sound!
