what are your views on the fender basses...

do you guys feel like its far too pricey or just right

or

is it worth what it sounds like?

is the sound mush better compared to other brands like ibanez and warwick?

and also what are your views on the fender aerodyne bass?

price is ok...
in terms of sound...no one is better than the other....fender is fender...warwick is warick,and the list goes on...depends on what you're looking for
remember,fender is the most used bass in recording...even lakland,sadowsky and mike lull still use fender's design 8)

fenders have the vibe la. after all, it;s THE original electric bass co.

all basses have their own sound. it;s either you liek it or not. there is no better sound.

you cannot compare fenders to warwicks or ibanees to because they just have a really diferent sound. fenders are nice, smooth and warm and just has this loose vintage vibe. the other manufacturers you mentioned tend to go for the modern bass tone with tight lows.

i've personally nv tried the aerodyne bass for myself but i'd bet it'll be pretty cool.

you ust have to decide what kind of sound you want.

i agree. no matter what, the fender bass has to be the icon for vintage. it's got a certain character to it, it's sorta like driving a ford mustang. or something just as iconic.. as say something more modern like a lexus?

okay, it ain't about cars, but that's what i like about'em. it just works. (despite being over pricey)

the fender precision and jazz basses are the 2 templates of the modern electric basses.

imho its a little pricey considering the simplicity in construction, but i just love the look!!

if u ever find one old beat up one, give it a little setup and cleanup and play it. shiok feeling.
