Fender Bass bodies and necks (help!)

I need to purchase a fender jazz bass body and a 70's fender maple jazz neck with them pearl blk inlays. Just wonder if any of you have reliable sources for these parts online?

Thanks for the links! looking for a body that can simply fit a 70's fender style neck. Actually the body is more if a guide. My father with his friend came up with a new type of wood made up of organic fibres and some pvc compressed tgt. Brought the idea up to him to make a bass out of it and he said go ahead. Since its a little on the heavy side, i felt that it could make a good solid bass. But he needs the dimensions for the body to get the workers to cut it right. I looked around for dimensions online but found none so i think i need to get a body for them to copy straight. Because it would be hard for my dad to bring the slab of wood back to spore. Unless anyones got an idea?

maybe what you could do is to get the neck first, so that you can get the exact measurements to fit it. since u are gonna have it custom made so to speak

sorry to go ot, but does routing the neck pocket of the body to fit a wider neck affect the tone of a bass at all?

do you guys think its possible to get a luther to cut out a bass body from a block of wood?

and btw im planning to make it from this Waler Precision Mfg Sdn Bhd a pvc based product that looks exactly like wood but only stronger.
