If there is a serial number, look it up on the internet.
Post the pics here to verify with other forumers.
Test the guitar.

scam?does it mean i don't get the guitar or does it mean it's fake coz i don't care if it's fake.theres a lot of copies out there and no one's complainig.and i can't justify myself buying the original gibson will make me better.the most i get is a gig so i won't flatter myself

might mean either.. besides, if its fake, you're gonna be using a low quality shitty guitar that may fall apart randomly...

the copies around are usually vouched for... in the ones on yahoo, it probably doesn't have the quality of a burny, tokai or orville copy..

why no ppl are complaining is because they spend the money on the right copies. why would you want to buy a fake when you cant try it? wouldnt you want to buy a proper brand like epi for copies which you can try rather than having a fake gibson logo on your guitar?

i believe those recognise brand copies will have better workmanship and quality compare to fakes. this will justify the money you spend on the guitar.

confused: If you're so concerned with brand, get a second hand Epiphone guitar, ask a guitar shop to paste a decal of Gibson and you're done. you don't run into the risk of getting nothing after paying on yahooauctions, and it's cheaper.

really, when it comes to no meet up, use your thinking cap a bit. or just read the help/faq on yahooauctions and see what you don't know.

I had a look at the Yahoo Sg auctions.... the chongguoren scam is there in droves.....he scam works variously look it up. The chinese are nowhere near the Nigerians at this though - educate yourselves and google the 419 scam.
