yes we users get that most of the time.not only me but in forum in all over the world too face this problem.when i export my projects to itunes as mp3s,there'll be a volume drop.
i have did a bit of reading up on suggested solutions and answers to this.some have suggested things such as:
1)opting out the "auto Normalize" feature found under preferences
2)fiddling with the master track's peak limiter or multiband compressor
and some others which still doesnt help me get true audio like when i listened through garageband.
now suggestion (1) was helpful in a sense that volumes exported are much louder now and i can say closely to what i've set in garageband.but the problem is that the peaks or to some refer to as harmonics are screechingly disturbing whereas the bass sounds like a splat.so i tried adjusting individual volumes and gains but still to no avail.
does anyone face this problem too?or we should not expect too much out of garageband?
