30 mly male..been into band scene since the age 13
Its been awhile off the scene since my last band..wanna kickstart again with new ready band since forming a new band take alot of effort.
Genre wise im already mellow down and into top40,indie,altenative rock,pop,malay slow rock,indo, and also looking forward to write new ori songs..and i also dun mind covering female song if the band good at transpose and make our own rendition..and ya i able to be a backup guitarist..pm me if if u looking for wat im looking for

Hello,

Zaahir here, songwriter and guitarist of rock band EchoMax. We are a month old and have 5 original songs to be recorded in Mar 2013.

We are:

Zaahir - Guitar
Kenneth - Bass
Chris - Drums

we are influenced by Soundgarden, Audioslave, Live, Van Halen, Foo Fighters.

A little bit of history. I got some songs to work out and contacted Kenneth and Chris (whom I used to jam with before) to jam it out. We have progressed without a vocalist and now feel it's right time for a vocalist to join us.

The plan is to record an EP in Mar and distribute it online independently, cutting off the middleman (record companies/labels). This recording would be home based recording (vox + bass + guitars) while the drums will be at a studio. We should be on the lookout for events/gigs as much as possible, locally and internationally. Cross marketing with other bands would be great!

We are all 30 yrs old and we make it a point to jam every Friday (8pm to 10pm) *can be adjusted accordingly*

I do have some samples of me singing to the melody of songs.
