Please read up on the products. They are 2 different things while trying to achieve the same effect of maintaining equal tension. The dial uses compressed air measurements while the key tries to do it from the tension of the lugs via a torque measurement. The dial is obviously more accurate but its bulkier and if the tension is way somewhere - GUESS WHAT - You need to key a key to turn the lugs.
