Esp Ltd basses

I have been thinking of getting a ESP LTD F-104 bass. I play a mixed genre of music frm funk, rock to metal. i tink that this bass is affordable to me. wad do u guys think? shld i get it?

Theres another Esp ltd bass i have in mind too, its a LTD B-50. Unlike the F-104 it has a passive pickup instead of an active pickup. I am having a hard time deciding which bass should i get. wad do u guys think?

For killer-looks, i'd say go for the F-104, though it would seem out of place if you're playing funk.


For playability, i'd say go for the F-104 anw.

Well i'm pretty sure it's not a tough decision. Though if you'd rather save a few bucks then so be it. haha! Or you can just go for an Ibanez or Yamaha for around the same price yet better quality.

If you play funk, I don't think you should consider ESP-LTD basses. I don't know, I own a LTD Viper 254 bass and it doesn't feel/sound right if you play funk, but then again, I don't play funk stuff and the spec might be a little different from those you are considering.

If you play rock/metal most of the time, I would suggest you go for the F104. Humbuckers produce a great sound for those genre, imo. So if I were to be given a choice, I'll go for F104. Look cool too.

But if you're still new and you want to try other genre, don't consider buying LTD just yet. You might want to buy other basses with the same price of other brands. Most of them are more versatile than ESP/LTD basses.

why dont u save a 100 bucks more..and go for the yamaha rbx 374..it has active 2band eq..u shud try it man..

i have one..its comfortable.i like the feel of it..

ESP LTD F-104 bass is cool, Frédéric Leclercq of DragonForce is currently using them on Inhuman Rampage Tour..

where on earth in sg can you find the f104? I've tried all the major stores.. even Davis doesn't have it..

its very comfortable to hold while playing. to me personally i like it yes. i like the sound of it. i donnoe, but to me, when slapping the bass sounds nice too. well at least is better than my old SX bass.
its made in indonesia though, but overall its good la
