that's the thing with the entry level units in general (regardless of the brand name)- to get a good one, you have to assess like a dozen of them... FYI, the series 50 LTD reviews (EC/ V/ EX) are available in the review database.

thanks sub, yea i read the reviews. Unfortunately im not starting out so i'd probably dont want a beginner guitar. You know how it is with people who normally buy a begginer guitar, then they get something average and move up the chain.

I'd just want a good guitar and probably not get another one until i really find something thats a whole lot better.

Wat do u guys think? I'm not too sure...Epiphone tends to be kinda heavy. i wouldnt mind but...i dunno :? wonder how he mod, epiphones dont have battery slots eh?

the active ESP Eclipse also do not have a battery slot- as long as it fits in the rear electronics cavity, it's game 8)

not only that. im pretty sure the feel of an esp and a epiphone is very different. just take a look at their specs.

regardless of specs, the Epi has a different appeal (tone/ feel). they aim to appease the Gibson fans primarily.

ops sorry bout multi-post. Com went nuts. I agree with you on that. Oh and music theme may bring in ESP guitars in the future. They currently have one, the james hetfield truckster. Pretty neat.
