ESP EC series

Hey guys,

I was thinking of buying a ESP Eclipse but i stumbled across their EC LTD series. LTD are meant to be more affordable right? http://www.espguitars.com/guitars_ec.html

What do you guys think? Does davis carry theses?

entry-level LTDs available @ Davis, upper end ones are not.

yes, LTDs are definitely more affordable than the ESP counterparts but as one climbs up the LTD hierarchy, what one would be paying for can acquire a Standard Series ESP with a little top-up.

can try edwards - also from ESP but it JDM - (JAPAN domestic market)

the Edwards brand name are more inclined to cloning activites, but they are fine guitars, definitely.

Was looking at the ESP Eclipse as well then saw the LTD ones.

The thing that turned me off the LTD was the matt finish. A couple months of playing and you'll have just made some ares of the finish shiny..

that matt finish you see @ Davis is an exclusive anniversary model, it's not a regular production unit.

i deem it to be a superb guitar for the money. the finish is acquired taste, definitely.

But it sure was a matt finish, unique.

Was looking at the ESP site and I didn't even know that had so many LTD ECs thats not present at Davis.

I'm guessing those are the higher end LTDs that would cost a few dollars lesser than an ESP itself?

i see, wat are the cost of these axes? Are these EC LTDS any good? So davis carries theses as well? Thanks. I know the ESP ECs cost about 1.9k and i can't afford that so im hoping these LTD ECs are more affordable.

If my memory was good (I doubt it) its about $600 - $700?

i dont really like contacting davis. The people are USUALLY not the friendliest people. Maybe just cos they think im young or something. If the ECs are 600-700 im sure gonna get one wooo.

600-700 is way 2 little 4 a high end ltd
emgs are already abt 300

Wow if the LTDs cost like 1.6k and the ESPs 1.9k i might as well just throw in 300 more for the ESP lol. Tat sucks, i was hoping it would be much more affordable.

i tink da LTD EC50 is going for less den 380?

Aw but im no starter haha. Well i was at davis today. They dont stock the LTD EC-500 or 100 series. According to them the price is about the same as their Edwards or ESP and they don't stock it.

They only got the lower end LTD like wat remy said, going for 380. Not my type of guitar though. The ESP LTD EC-500 at music123, converted to S$ is only about 950+. So i don't know how true is that. They do have edwards which are quite similar to the ESP at about 1.3k to 1.4k.

But if i was getting something at that price i still rather top up the 500 bucks and buy the ESP EC already.
