Ernie Ball Silouhette Discussion

Hey Phanto, i see you've become quite ernie ball crazy haha. Can't recommend them enough as great and versatile instruments. If you like more V-shaped necks, do consider the LUKE series. Great guitar too. But do play one and don't take other people's words for emgs being sterile. The guitar sounds every bit as good as anything out there.

Maybe this can even be a MusicMan thread seeing how there are quite a number of MusicMan players here.

I've played most models of guitars the MusicMan line has at the moment, so if you got any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Only ones not played are the old versions of silos, the EVH, 20th silo and 20th steve morse.

Older musicman models had problems with their laquer cracking at the neck joint. They said the problem was due to the finish being layered too tightly and overtime it began to create cracks. Problem has been rectified and these days, such problems do not occur. Had my silo for 3 years now. No problems.
