Guys, all new epiphones are made in China... They opened a factory there recently. The Korean base closed quite awhile already. Jap made epiphones have the authentic Gibby headstock...

i guess its the workmanship. no offense, but stuffs assembled in china always seem to have a shorter lifespan than those made in korea or such. again, no offense to the pples rep of china or its pple :wink:

the chinese Ibanez Artcore are excellent in terms of playability/ tone.

I think the QC differs from company to company. Ever tried chinese Squiers? The QC is quite bad as compared to their Indonesian counterparts

chinese made guitars are getting better. anyway all is automated by machines. they are not handmade unlike gibsons. so its just a different guy pushing a button/lever hehe

my chinese squier tele custom sounds and feels better than my indonesian squier tele and strat
