Epiphone PR-4E.Recommendations for acoustic electric guitar.

Hi guys, I took a look at the package that Swee Lee was offering the Epiphone PR-4E guitar that comes with 15W amps and pretty much everything else for 299. I just wanted a second opinion. Has anybody tried out that guitar? Any comments about it? What do you think of it? Worth the money? I tried it out but I kind of felt something was missing. Maybe it was because of the size of the guitar thats a bit smaller hence the smaller resonance if I play without the amp.
If not, does anybody have any recommendations for electric acoustic guitar of that price range and has a good sound.

imho that package guitar sounds good. I mean $300 with everything and pre amp, I dare say this guitar is a steal. I've tried them out and their build quality is definitely there.

I liked that PR-4E. Very nice slim neck and everything..

Don't u think the body is a bit small compared to the other acoustic and the sound doesn't really sound full if played without plugging in?

well imo for the price, i still think its a fantastic deal. you cant compare it to guitars that are twice its price and stuff.

I also feel that the sound is not very full both unplugged or plugged in...maybe u can try some lower range takamine bro....it sounds better...I've tried some ebenezer guitar also....it also sounds nice for the price.....
