One of the pickups in my guitar which I bought from swee lee is not working. Is the pickup an electronic part and is it under the warranty by swee lee.

and try to be persistent about it..
one of the people in the maintanence shop was reluctant to view my guitar..
i kept telling them the problem, which could apply to you too, is a faulty toggle switch..
same thing happened, only one pickup function.. the second pickup could only be heard if i wiggled the switch around a bit..

Godspeed64 is right.

Normally the fault lies with the toggle switch. If its under warranty, then by all means bring it back to them to check... but must be persistent and insist on staying until they open it up infront of you.

If not, then maybe you wanna be a little bit adventureous and open up the back portion of your guitar to check for loose connections at the toggle switch. I tried it once and it worked.. all it required was a little soldering and the problem is solved.

Hi,

The pickup itself is not under warranty but if I'm not wrong, it should be only a circuitry problem which is still under the 1year warranty.
Please do not attempt to repair yourself but bring it back to the showroom that you purchase from or Service Centre for them to sort it out for you.
You may need your reciept of purchase to verify for the warranty privilleges. ;)
