Hahahahaha...wah..you all disturb me har ??...
DrumHobbyist: No need to imagine lah...the last time I sang in a Disco (one song only with the live-band last year).....the cha-bo all go crazy man...my face all lips-sticks marks - I was singing throughout the entire song with so many cha-bo taking pictures at the same time with me on stage.......I'm a good singer man....BUT.....unfortunately My drumming is far far away from my singing - I don't drum well. Kekekeke :lol:

OK...and talking about the next meet-up - IT's CONFIRMED - We managed to secure the Venue for the NEXT 3 MONTHS (April, May & June)....and we will have a Fresh-Thread for this 2nd-Meet-up. AI wish the existing Committee Members can help once again in the organisation of this event (They really did a great job) and please do come and get to know each other better......FREE & EASY......Let's plan - NO NEED TO PAY $$$$$$$...just come and join us please.eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Just to let everyone know.. RD is actually forking out money from his own pocket to rent the venue for the next Drum Meet-Up so that we can enter for free. So let's not disappoint him and all turn up on that day!

Yes the 2 young Bro & Sis is comming in the 2nd meetup.
I also called my friend (a girl - pretty one) :smt061, she around 22 years old I guess. She had been drumming in Yamaha for 2 years already (completed book 1 & 2), she then bought a drumset last year and is now selling her Kit. I spoke to her last Friday. She said she never touch her Kit already and feeling demoralised so she never touch her Kit for many many months. I did try to ask her to join us in the 2nd meetup and I hope she will turn up
It is true and pretty sad to say, if we do not motivate & inspire each other, at the end of the day...some of us (I said some) will stop drumming completely ..... like me when I was young and had wasted so many years so lets drive one another and help each other here.
Please come, there are plenty of things we can learn from each other and I realise that some Drummers (who came) are good in certain area and some of them in other areas of drumming. I did learn (though verbally from some) who play the double-Bass-Drum how it's suppose to be done - this is new to me and I only hope I will be able to see them show me pratically how it's being done - The Free & Easy Session on the 2nd Meet-up is very good.....One can really asked fellow drummers around on anything
Lets's come for this few INFORMAL MEETUP, and by then I'm sure we all know each other better. Breaking the ice means we can be closer as there is personnel face to face contact...till then naturally we no longer feel shy towards one another - this will expedite learning. From these initial INFORMAL MEETUP (as we really need to break he ice from my own observation on 1st meetup), more FORMAL MEETUP can then be organise...and this expedite learning & sharing.
Thank You....and I am as hungry as you all are in learning from each other and becomming a better drummer than what I am today...Let's Do It !
PS: - It would really ne nice.eee, if we can have Professional Drummers eg Alvin, Brandon , AhPek (these are the only I know here...sorry if I miss the others out) to come join us, anyway it's informal - it's a bonus to us.....
PS: We just need to come with a very open-mind...the objective is to share and learn..
