thanks for all the kind comments and advice , appreciate it. Umm I improved by practicing alot. It helps that I'm into technical music so I listen to dream theater, symphony X and yngwie malmsteen alot, and not forgetting having a really helpful friend who's a brilliant guitarist helping me from the day I started guitar. I think one of the key things that made me improve was regularly forcing myself out of my comfortable playing limits. Basically biting off more than I could chew. I prodded myself into learning the master of puppets solo after 6 months of playing. Took me 2 months to get it but it improved my alternate picking by a hell lot
