Electronic drums - DM6

Hi all,

Anyone has any reviews on the DM6 (retails just under 1k)? or the DM7?
I'm considering buying one, but not sure if that will be a good investment.

tried this drum set, sounds superior feels better than DTXplorer. Sold out at sinnamex though, anyone knows where else is selling this awesome budget drum set?

I tried it some time back but I still prefer the Roland Td4. The feel of the TD4 is so much superior. No regrets getting one! The DTX is just too rubbery.

roland of course better, price is much higher than the Alesis DM6. Anyway, is sinnamax the only one retailing this drum set?

guys.. i just went down to Sinamex.. tried out all 3 of the electronic drum kits.. for sure the DM6 is great... Don't mention the other 2 DM8 and DM10 are good stuff too.. but just wondering .. those the DM6 able to have a double pedal ? the staff there told me because of the small bass pad.. its unable to have a double pedal installed.. whats your views guys... ?? experienced people pls help?

Although the surface area is small, the DM6 bass pad is able to take double pedals. I used it with the Iron Cobras doubles, no issues. Just place the two beaters as close together as possible.

the dm6 is definitely much better den Yamaha's DTX500 IMO.

tested out both kits and dtx540k still out wins DM6

DM6 has a bug; when you hit the hihat and the snare at the same time you can only hear one.
Hope they fix it soon (or maybe they already did), but try before you buy.
If there is a fix to this let meknow and I'll buy one, as otherwise it's great for the price.

Hello there, been looking for reviews of dm6 too but pretty hard to find comprehensive ones! hoping someone on soft can share more information and experiences with it. anyone knows if the mentioned bug has been fixed too?
