Electro Harmonix Small Clone - analog chorus
liffosmallclone.jpg

it sounds really really great..

looking at the fuzzy price tag on the box, I'd wager it was bought at Yamaha Music Plaza :D

din see the tag there man, haha. thx...dhalif, wud love to hear how it sounds like wif u playin it, post some clips of it yea?

it sounds something like a flanger
And yet nothing like one.

It adds notes over the notes you are playing, which are slightly delayed and slightly out of tune. Usually how many notes, how much delay, and how out of tune can be controlled.

This gives the effect of overdubbing, or a few instruments playing at the same time.

Sorry to hijack, since we are on the topic of EH. Is the Big Muff a overdrive or distortion pedal?

The clone's a great chorus. Too bad i can't seem to get my hands on a used one.My only grouse is the thin sheet metal housing. Tends to rust in our climate especially at the edges. Feels flimsy too.

How much did your unit cost?

the pulsar has to be one of the better trem pedals i've tried - very clean trem sound, good selection of wave forms and in traditional EH fashion, the extreme settings are VERY extreme  really nice trem pedal IMHO. comparable to the george dennis trem (which i use), except it has no seperate LED for tempo, but on the flipside the switch is way easier to activate than that darn rubber GD switch (any tips on softening it? i've had it for almost two years and its still damn stiff). if you're going for the vintage trem sound though, the pulsar might not be to your liking - it doesn't colour your sound as much as say, a BOSS TR-2 or the dunlop trem - personal fave for thick n wet trem sounds.

How much is the Pulsar? And how does it compare to a boss tr2, other than that it doesnt colour ur sound?
