I wonder if the local mags should do an expose~ on local band babes....

I think you're over sensitive. Possibly a person who cannot accept himself/herself for who he/she is.

What's wrong with appreciating beautiful women....maybe you should talk to women more...

The New Paper did a series last year on female rockers, etc. Clearly, the journalist din know what she was talking about as well.

Good marketing move though...

I personally feel there's a difference between beauty and sensual. True that it might be a good marketing move, but there might always be a repercussion on the whole band as a whole.

Eg.
Previously if I mentioned Electrico to friends, they would probably say "The band with an album with quite solid tracks".

Now, they would probably say "The band with the girl on Maxim".

I think also because the band is quite relaxed.... its not like she needs the permission of the band.

But I think the pics were pretty good...for the band as well. Anyway, what's wrong with the "band with the girl on maxim?"

at least it's better than "the band full of druggies" or "the band with the convict"....yeah...I'm referring to Velvet Revolver... and they're a pretty good band....
