Hi everyone, I always wondered how do people chose occupations like a guitar teacher, given how little information there is on how you can become one eventually, such as things that a guitar teacher requires i.e. certificates. As such, I was just wondering what sort of qualifications/knowledge do electric guitar teachers here have before they can be certified to start teaching at music schools or just privately. While it has always seemed like a dream job for people who love playing and learning guitar through their lifetime, it may only be viable if one finds practicality in doing so especially in Singapore. Would appreciate it if anyone can share their knowledge for everyone who shares the same doubts as me and wishes to know as much as possible, how people who aspires to be electric guitar teachers get started and eventually making teaching as their part/full-time job!
