effects pedal board

hey i have a wood plank at home to make a pedal board. does anyone knows where to customize them as in really cut the wood into proper size, and place the pedals permanently on the board? is there any shop can do this? i prefer guitar shop cuz at least its easier for me to communicate with them. it would be great if i can hide those unused power supply patch cable (daisy chain). hope to hear your suggestions!

draw up a design plan, get a carpenter to do for you. then buy industrial strength velcro to paste yourself, pretty straight forward.

try that before but after i keep taking in and out from my bag, the pedals just like become messy again.

Why bother? You will be wasting time and spending an amount that would be several times the cost of that shelf.

It's fun & fulfilling! Just do what you have in mind, starting from planning everything like pedal location, material used, wiring, sequence, tools needed etc etc..

Here's my customised board board:

For me, wood was hand-sawed to my specifications, and hand-drilled for the wire to go through the board to hide excess wires..

If you're rich and feeling lazy, you can head down to Home-Fix DIY to rent power tools like electric saw and powerdrill. It ain't that cheap but gets the job done faster & is less tiring, but for me, my dad's handsaw and handdrill sufficed.
